ESP2 - Emergency Sanitation Project

This is a follow on project of an initial pilot and is testing various containment and onsite treatment options for faecal sludge. Technologies include the Earth Auger and LooWat and treatment options includes lime, urea and wood ash. The project is funded by USAID.

The Emergency Sanitation Project (ESP2) also focuses on empowering local stakeholders through training and education on best sanitation practices. By fostering community engagement, we aim to enhance resilience and promote long-term sustainability in sanitation efforts. This collaborative approach not only addresses immediate health concerns but also builds a foundation for future improvements in hygiene and sanitation infrastructure. Together, we strive to create a healthier and safer environment all individuals in crisis-affected areas.
